Jensen CV8 Workshop
I like to have a few pictures of the workshop as it shows how it eveloves overtime as the project progresses. We live on a farm and I share my work space with hay, livestock, tractors and anything else that is going on in the farm. Due to a very good hay crop, there was no real room for our Jensen C-V8 and we were crammed in. Things have changed as the hay has been used and more space is now available making it easier to work. It is a cold environment but dry enough to keep the project moving.
We have come a long way in terms of the workshop. It has all been cleared out and we have added a few useful tools. The car lift was a birthday present to myself and has proved invaluable. Everything has a place and we have created the space to make it far easier to work on the Jensen. Here you can see one of our first tasks to change the brakes right around, fit new engine mounts and the 2 sum gaskets as well as a core plug. All part of keeping the car on the road and useable before we strip it down for restoration.
